Life at ACMS

Pastoral Care
All pupils (boarders and non-boarders) will have a Guidance Teacher with overall responsibility for pastoral welfare.

Boarding
The majority of students at Aberdeen City Music School are boarders, and we strive to create a friendly atmosphere and homely environment for them.

Transport
Aberdeen City Music School will generally meet the costs of daily transport to and from school, as well as the cost of transport to and from musical activities arranged by Aberdeen City Music School.

Financial
Aberdeen City Music School is funded by the Scottish Government therefore tuition at the school is free. A small contribution is requested for boarding and parents may be asked to meet the cost of some equipment and activities.
